A naturopathic doctor completes four to five years of accredited medical training, covering the same foundational sciences as a conventional MD alongside deep training in natural therapies. The core difference lies in the approach. Rather than focusing on managing symptoms, a naturopathic doctor investigates the root cause of illness, treats the whole person, and uses the most natural and least invasive therapies first. Appointments are longer, the relationship is more collaborative, and the goal is always lasting health rather than a temporary fix.
-
Absolutely. Naturopathic medicine is not a replacement for conventional care. It works alongside it, filling the gaps that a fragmented system too often leaves behind. Many patients at Heal Within Clinic continue seeing their primary care physician or specialists while receiving naturopathic support. Dr. Rezvani welcomes collaboration and is happy to communicate with other members of your care team when appropriate.
About naturopathic medicine
-

Those who want a doctor who will take the time to connect the dots of their full story rather than address each symptom in isolation. Whether you are navigating a chronic condition, a women's health journey, or simply want to build a stronger foundation of health, this practice is built for patients who are ready to invest in the long term.
-
Dr. Rezvani sees patients ages 12 and up.
-
Yes. Heal Within Clinic offers both in-person and telehealth appointments. Many patients find telehealth a convenient and comfortable way to receive care, particularly for follow-up visits and consultations that do not require hands-on treatment.
-
Yes. Dr. Rezvani speaks both English and Farsi and welcomes patients who prefer to communicate in Farsi. Healthcare is deeply personal, and being able to express yourself fully in your own language makes a meaningful difference in the quality of care.
About the practice
-
The first visit is about getting to know you. Dr. Rezvani will take a thorough health history, review any labs or imaging you have brought, and spend time understanding your health goals and what has brought you here. Together, the foundation of your care is established and a path forward begins to take shape. There is no rush and no checklist. Just a real, unhurried conversation about your full story.
-
Initial visits are 75 minutes. This allows enough time to go deep into your health history, review relevant labs and imaging, and begin building a personalized plan. Follow-up visits are 45 minutes, focused on reviewing progress, adjusting your plan, and continuing the investigation.
-
This depends entirely on your goals and the nature of your health concerns. Some patients find significant improvement in a few visits, while others benefit from ongoing care over a longer period. Dr. Rezvani will always be honest about what to expect and will work with you to find a rhythm of care that suits your life and your body.
-
Yes, a little preparation goes a long way. Please complete the intake forms sent to you before your appointment. If you have any recent labs, imaging, or medical records, please share them in advance whenever possible. This gives Dr. Rezvani the opportunity to review everything thoroughly before you arrive, making the most of your time together from the very first minute.
About appointments
-
This is a deliberate and heartfelt choice. Insurance models are built around short visits, narrow treatment windows, and standardized protocols — none of which leave room for the kind of care Dr. Rezvani is committed to providing. Working outside the insurance system means appointments can be as long as each patient's health truly requires, treatment plans are built around the individual rather than a billing code, and the relationship between doctor and patient can develop with genuine depth. Investing in this care is an investment in yourself, and one that Dr. Rezvani takes seriously on behalf of every patient.

HSA and FSA payments are not accepted at this time, but this option will be available soon. Please check back or ask at your discovery call for the most current information.
-
Yes. A superbill can be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Whether your insurance covers naturopathic care will depend on your specific plan. It is worth checking with your provider directly, and Dr. Rezvani is happy to support that process.
-
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you, and that time is deeply valued. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in the full visit fee being collected. Life happens, and for genuine emergencies, 50 percent of the visit fee will be collected instead. This exception may be used up to three times per year. Thank you for your understanding and for honoring the time set aside for your care.

Healing is a journey, and every body moves at its own pace. There is no single timeline that applies to everyone. What matters is not how fast the results come, but that progress is being made — and that each visit brings more clarity, more understanding, and a treatment plan that continues to evolve in the right direction. Dr. Rezvani will always be honest about where you are and what to expect as you move forward.

Complex and chronic conditions are welcome here. These are often the patients who benefit most from naturopathic care. It is important to understand that symptoms which have developed over months or years cannot be resolved overnight. For most chronic conditions, meaningful improvement begins to emerge over four to six months of consistent care. The body did not lose its balance quickly, and it will not regain it quickly either. What can be promised is a committed, curious, and compassionate presence for every step of that journey.
